Paul and Corey have each been practicing law for more than 20 years in New Hampshire, as well as in Massachusetts, New York and Maryland. We have tried cases throughout the State of New Hampshire, and have represented clients before numerous State administrative agencies and boards, including the Department of Labor, which handles workers’ compensation matters.
Paul is a Past President of the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association, and a former prosecutor. Prior to Maggiotto & Belobrow, Paul prosecuted homicides and sex crimes as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, New York. In 1990, he moved to New Hampshire and joined the Attorney General’s Office as a homicide prosecutor. He received national attention for the successful prosecution of Pamela Smart. His criminal defense practice has included everything from DWI, misdemeanor and high profile homicide cases in all State and Federal Courts in New Hampshire and to a limited extent in Massachusetts.
Paul’s practice, as well as Corey’s, has also included all types of personal injury cases from those settling for a few thousand dollars to multimillion dollar verdicts. [click here for Verdicts and Settlements]
Corey is a former chair of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section. He is a long time member of the Bar Association’s Continuing Education Committee, including terms as Chair and Vice-chair.
Corey is a frequent lecturer for the New Hampshire Bar Association and other organizations. He worked as an Assistant County Attorney in Montgomery County, Maryland, from 1982-86.
